Learning Outside The Classroom

At Musselburgh School we believe that learning can take place anywhere - within the classroom, school grounds and local environment and community. 

Musselburgh Schools Education Outside the Classroom (EOTC) programme offers fun and stimulating experiences that enable students to explore their environment, take risks, learn safe practices and new skills individually and as a collective.

These experiences include: 

  • Pasifika and Kapahaka festival

  • Marae trips

  • Camp

  • Ice skating

  • Swimming activities (IRB, snorkelling, diving and kayaking)

  • Sailing
