Musselburgh Primary has been an Enviroschool since 2006.  We gained Silver EnviroSchool status in 2011 and are working towards our Green-Gold Award.

Enviroschools is a nationwide kaupapa in over 1000 schools in New Zealand, with the aim to work with positive energy to connect with each other, our cultural identities and our environment to create a healthier, peaceful community in which people care for each other.

We believe this can be achieved if we learn together through empowering our children to be active in their community.

How does Enviroschools support our school vision?

  • Learning to Live … sustainably in a collaborative community
  • Living to Learn  … being empowered to act with our values, knowledge & skills
